Channel Crossing Construction on Jalan Pedurenan Masjid IV to Complete Next Week

Setiabudi Sub-district Water Resource Blue Taskforce personnel are constructing channel crossing on Jalan Pedurenan Masjid IV, RT 14/04, Karet Kuningan Urban Village, Setiabudi Sub-district. The construction is targeted to complete next week.

along six meters

Setiabudi Sub-district Water Resource Implementer Unit Coordinator, Hendra, the construction of this channel crossing is carried out at the suggestion of residents because the previous condition of the water channel was too narrow, which meant that the water flow was not smooth.

Munjul's Channel Plaster Repair to Complete this Week

"We provide new channel crossing along six meters with width and height 70 cm," he said, Friday (5/17).

Hendra added the construction of the crossing channel, which is targeted to be completed within a week, will use a U-ditch measuring 40x40 centimeters which is directly connected to the nearest connecting channel.

"The construction began on May 13, 2024 by involving seven personnel. Now the personnel are installing U-ditch," he added.

He hopes that by making crossings that are wide enough, it will be able to prevent the potential for inundation, especially when there is high intensity rain.

Meanwhile, RT 014/04 Head, Karet Kuningan Urban Village, Ali Abdullah, thanked the agency for responding the residents' request.

"Hopefully this crossing channel is the best solution to overcome inundation here," he hoped.
